Subaru x Sofia Huerta

I've been making videos with Sofia Huerta for over four years, so when she reached out about a new partnership with Subaru, I was excited to collaborate again. The challenge was to create three completely different videos for her social channels, each exploring a different part of her life: adventure, city living, and the little features that make her car her own.

For Adventure, I drew inspiration from Subaru's iconic outdoor campaigns, developing a detailed audio-visual script and hiring a drone operator to help bring the vision to life. We headed into the forests around North Bend, Washington, to capture something cinematic and atmospheric. City Life took a different approach, following Sofia through the pace of her everyday life and showing how her Subaru fits into it all. And for Favorite Features, I went with something more playful, borrowing from Architectural Digest's home tours and letting Sofia show off her car like she was giving us a tour of her home.

I wrote, directed, shot, and edited all three videos, with additional drone cinematography for Adventure. Each was designed specifically for vertical viewing, with its own distinct visual style while staying true to both Sofia's personality and the Subaru brand.
